The Southern Pacific Railroad had hundreds of depots and freight houses serving cities both large and small.  These facilities were scattered throughout the operating territory.  The pages below contain photos of depots, freight houses, and other surviving structures of the Southern Pacific Railroad and its subsidiaries, as they appeared either during use or in their current state.  In many cases, I have provided links to external web sites that have additional photographic resources.

I only post photos for which I have permission to use.  Web sites external to this site are not maintained by me and I have no control over the content on those sites.

Southern Pacific station location information was provided by David Coscia at http://webpages.charter.net/altalair/rrindex.html

Additional, nationwide railroad depot data, maintained by Mark Camp, can be found at Railway Station Historical Society web site.
